projects in void spaces

Artspace has been working in partnership with Coventry City Council (City Development Directorate) since November 2009 to support artists and creative practitioners to occupy units in Coventry’s City Arcade on a rolling short term, temporary licence basis. We are currently developing a dedicated web archive of projects that we have instigated, supported and delivered. The website will also include information for other organisations seeking to develop projects and resources which have been commissioned through a Void Space Strategy for Coventry City Council.

The website will be launched in early 2011. For more details in the mean time email us mail@coventry-artspace.co.uk

Below: Images and links to some of the projects we have instigated, supported and delivered.

The main exhibition featured 4 pieces commissioned for the IKEA foyer which is over the road from the City Arcade and a shop unit acted as a project space for 4 recent graduates making work in response to the exhibition.
