Circus Palava

Regular weekly informal drop in workshops for people looking to develop or practice circus skills such as stilt walking, juggling, diablo, poi, devil stick, unicycling, and clowning. For anyone interested in developing circus skills aged 12+. All under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult

Arty Folks

Sessions covering a range of fine art activities including life drawing, painting, collage making and sculpting. They have also explored a range of workshop delivery formats such as informal and social taster workshops, Open College Network accredited, art history, library research and meditation. For people recovering from mental ill health and mental stress, and who are interested in visual arts. No previous experience of art needed. Beginners and people who just want to have a go are welcome.

Clay and Fire

Clay & Fire is a friendly and informal weekly ceramics workshop. Several outdoor Raku firings are also organised each year, and a community events in the city centre are occasionally planned. Clay & Fire is lead by member artists and welcomes both complete beginners, and those who have some experience of ceramics but have no access to a studio or wish to meet other practitioners.
